What You’ll Do
Ownership, architecture and management of AWS infrastructure components such as VPCs, EC2, S3, Kinesis, ECS, Lambda, etc.
Deployment and management automation for cloud-based infrastructure and software
Working with configuration management tools such as Cloudformation, Terraform, Salt, Ansible, and Chef
Ensuring cloud-based architectures meet availability and recoverability requirements
Architecture and implementation of cloud-based monitoring, alerting and reporting – Sensu, CloudWatch, StatusCake, ELK, Grafana
What You’ll Bring
B. S. in Computer Science or equivalent
1+ year experience with technical operations or software development; AWS infrastructure a plus
Strong level of expertise programming in C#/ C++/ Java/ Python or equivalent language
Solid understanding/experience of web services, databases and relating infrastructure/architectures
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated aptitude in quickly mastering new languages and technologies
