Clipboard Health (YC W17) is a marketplace that connects healthcare facilities with nurses in their area. We are on a mission to improve patient care through our service to our clients: giving nurses flexible schedules, and healthcare facilities reliable staff.
We are looking for legal professionals to provide advice and guidance on all aspects of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on applicable state laws and regulations
- Work with internal partners to determine and deliver legal strategies to help achieve the business’s goals
- Coordinate litigation and regulatory issues affecting the business and our clients
- Assist with licensing and contract development/review
- Manage employment related issues and additional questions as necessary
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of regulatory or litigation experience
- Licensed to practice law in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in-house at a fast-paced, high-growth start-up
- Thrive in an environment with multiple deadlines and deliverables
- Ability to analyze complex issues, risk, and business requirements
- Comfortable working with limited oversight
- A team player who can effectively communicate across the organization
- Excited about the company, the mission, and helping to develop the organization
