The Accountant is an entry-level role responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is ideal for a recent graduate seeking to begin a career in accounting within a collaborative and supportive environment. The role assists with financial reporting, reconciliations, and transaction processing while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Major Responsibilities:

Financial Record Management

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial documentation

Closing & Financial Support

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Support accounting activities for multiple entities and currencies

Account Reconciliation

  • Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts to ensure accuracy

Transaction Processing

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
  • Provide support during audits and tax preparation activities
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance is required
  • Internship or academic project experience in accounting is preferred but not required
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and meet deadlines
