Assistant Finance Manager
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join one of our affiliated Companies in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team within a fast-paced corporate environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your expertise, take on new challenges, and play a key role in supporting financial operations across multiple entities.
The main responsibilities of the position include:

    • Review trial balances and ledgers monthly, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
    • Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate management reporting
    • Maintain accurate financial records in line with accounting standards
    • Develop and enhance financial policies to improve efficiency and regulatory adherence
    • Strengthen internal financial controls and recommend process improvements
    • Ensure VAT and tax compliance, handling filings and regulatory requirements
    • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and legal consultants for audits and statutory filings
    • Support budgeting and cost control, collaborating with departments
    • Manage vendor contracts, payments, and reconciliations
    • Provide financial insights to support decision-making
    • Drive process improvements and automation for efficiency
Main requirements:

    • BSc/MSc in Accounting / Finance or any other relevant degree
    • Professional Qualification Degree (ACA, ACCA) with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience
    • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products
    • Knowledge of any accounting program would be a plus
    • Excellent management and leadership skills
    • Strong organisational skills
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills
    • Proactive and results-oriented
    • Energetic, positive and team player with strong organisational skills
    • Global awareness and global business orientation
    • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
    • Very good knowledge of English
