We are looking for a 3D Artist to join the Jam City Narrative Game team and support the development of a new title. In this position, you will create high‑quality 3D assets by modeling and texturing props, environments, and characters, and by integrating these assets into the game engine.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce exceptional modeling and texturing work.
• Build polished, optimized 3D environments, props, and characters.
• Work closely with the Art Lead and Art Director to establish and uphold the project’s visual direction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve visual issues related to in‑game assets and interactions between characters and environments.
• Identify workflow improvements to ensure asset production is efficient and effective.
• Communicate with the Lead Artist, Art Director, Producers, and other project leads about tasks and scheduling.
• Solve artistic and technical problems throughout development.
• Occasionally support the tech art team with basic rigging and skinning tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D game development.
• Participation in at least one complete 3D game project.
• Expert knowledge of Maya and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of rendering and real‑time shader creation.
• Experience with Substance Painter and PBR materials.
• Ability to work across diverse subject matter and art styles.
• Strong familiarity with environment and character art pipelines.
• Solid understanding of human and animal anatomy.
• Excellent sense of composition, color, value, and form in both traditional art and game visuals.
• Deep understanding of the 3D game development pipeline and experience working with engineering and design teams.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Art degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with Unity.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.

NICE TO HAVE
• Strong 2D concept art and illustration skills.
• Maya rigging experience.
• Maya scripting abilities (Mel or Python).
• Experience building shaders with node‑based shader tools.
• Knowledge of Substance Designer.
• Experience with ZBrush.
