We are seeking a Director of Partnership Success Management to join an innovative development organization and lead a team of high-performing Partnership Success Managers (PSMs) and supervisors. This leader will drive a best-in-class donor experience by identifying meaningful engagement and stewardship opportunities with donor partners.
This role blends strategic leadership, portfolio oversight, and talent development. The ideal candidate brings experience leading leaders, along with a background in fundraising or consultative sales, and is passionate about building win-win partnerships that create long-term impact.
- Lead Leaders & Build Talent: Develop and coach PSM supervisors and their teams, building a strong leadership bench and high-performance culture.
- Drive Strategic Growth: Set direction and partner with leadership to grow a portfolio of influential donor partnerships and exceed ambitious goals.
- Own Donor Experience: Guide teams to deliver a best-in-class experience by identifying tailored engagement and stewardship opportunities.
- Shape Value Propositions: Partner with teams to craft and communicate compelling partnership opportunities that drive meaningful social change.
- Scale Revenue Excellence: Teach and reinforce world-class revenue generation capabilities, including portfolio planning, opportunity strategy, and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work across teams to design and execute strategies that grow revenue and deepen partner engagement.
- Model Execution: Oversee select portfolios and set the standard for excellence in cultivation, stewardship, and pipeline management.
- Build Systems & Culture: Drive disciplined forecasting, CRM adoption (e.g., Salesforce), and a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

- 5+ years of experience, including leading leaders (managing managers or supervisors)
- Background in fundraising, partnerships, or consultative sales
- Proven success building and scaling high-performing, goal-oriented teams
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into execution
- Experience managing portfolios, pipelines, or client/donor relationships
