Join CrowdGen as an Independent Contractor and take part in our project: a short voice recording challenge designed to help improve speech recognition technology.

You’ll read and record brief scripted commands in your native Arabic (MSA or Gulf) using the Appen Mobile App. This is a guided activity that you can complete entirely on your smartphone.

Most participants finish the full recording session in about 1 to 2 hours, including time to review the instructions.

Requirements
– Must be a native Arabic speaker (MSA or Gulf)
– Must live in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or the UAE, and your CrowdGen account must be registered in one of these countries
– Must be at least 18 years old
– Must have a smartphone compatible with the Appen Mobile App (Android or iPhone) and a working microphone
– Need a quiet place with minimal background noise
– Must have a stable internet connection to upload recordings
– Must be able to follow the recording instructions carefully

Payment Details
– Earn a fixed rate for completing a full session (500 prompts) with at least 90% of recordings passing quality review
– If fewer than 500 prompts are assigned, payment will be prorated, but the 90% quality requirement still applies
– Incomplete sessions are not paid
– Sessions with a QA score below 90% are rejected and will not be compensated

– First-come, first-served: applying early increases your chances
– Demographic quotas apply. If your group is full, you may not receive tasks, though you could be invited to other available projects
