Duties: Design and development of mission critical data warehousing using business intelligence and analytical solutions. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders in a team environment. Implement modern data platform architectures. Meet with corporate users to discuss operating systems. Develop IT solutions for applications and strategic platforms. Construct business impact analyses of underlying business processes captured by applications. Support risk assessment processes to determine a solution. Assess and identify IT risk control gaps for each application that is not up to standard. Identify operational risks and provide recommendations on how to close gaps. Strategize the migration of applications and remediation of control gaps. Drive developmental efforts required by applications. Implement custom solutions for application reference data and data realignment. Reduce processing times, manual effort, and increase automation efficiency. Troubleshoot systems production and performance issues under tight deadlines. Perform system test planning and execution. Identify efficiencies and ways to improve design and development processes and production support. Identify solutions that allow operations to work efficiently. Ensure solutions are leveraged across the organization.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as an Associate IT Consultant, Software Engineer, ETL Developer, Application Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Masters degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study with five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as an Associate IT Consultant, Software Engineer, ETL Developer, Application Developer, or related occupation in lieu of a Bachelors degree plus seven (7) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with Software Project Planning and Execution of Risk and Finance Applications; Software Development Life Cycle Management; Software Project Life Cycle (PLC); and TOAD; Business Object XI R2, R3, or BI4; Exadata; PL/SQL; SQL *Plus; Clarity; and HP Application Lifecycle Management. This position requires three (3) years of experience with Agile-Scrum Project Management Tools; Crystal Reports 2008 and 2011; SAP Dashboards; SAP Design Studies; SAP XCelsis 2008; SAP Live Office XI R3 and R4; Oracle Discover 9i, 10g, or 11g; UNIX Shell Scripting; BO Data Federator; SAP BW/BEX; Ab Initio; Informatica 7.1.3 Languages; MS SQL Server; and FRS Reg Pro (RG).
