Voce Communications, a Porter Novelli company, and its Voce Connect Platforms team is looking for a web application developer, ideally located in New York, NYthatwill bring their knowledge of web standards, object-oriented programming, and databases to a team of passionate designers and developers. The web application developer is a key component in the team’s vision of creating beautifully simple and efficient web platforms for some of the largest brands in the world like Amazon, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft and Facebook, among others.
You will be building custom solutions for a wide range of clients in a wide range of industries. Expectations are high, so you must be comfortable with building solutions that are as elegant as they are efficient. You know what it means to keep things DRY. You will be working at a https://wordpress.com VIP Partner agency, one of the top WordPress development groups in the country. While we don’t require past development experience with WordPress (or develop with WordPress/PHP exclusively), you’ll need an open mind to building these solutions within this platform. You will be part of a development team with task-oriented development projects with written specifications, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and deadlines.
