APEX Expert Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join their team. This position will be remote but candidate must reside in the United States.

• Participate in full development lifecycle (planning, design, development and support)

• Take an innovative approach to solving difficult technical challenges

• Display engineering discipline in the design and documentation of well thought technical solutions & task breakdown

• Strengthen the team and culture via respectful, pragmatic communications and collaboration

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline. Years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing Java/Spring based RESTful API’s

• Experience developing feature-rich single-page web applications

• Experience with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks

• Demonstrated communication effectiveness in virtual working environment

• Experience working as part of an agile development team using the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, BitBucket, Bamboo, Confluence)

• Candidate must be a US Citizen

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Use of Geospatial development tools (GDAL, PDAL, GeoTools, ESRI, MapBox)

• Experience with analytic tools and visualization

• Experience with distributed computing platforms (Spark, StreamSets, MapReduce)

• Experience developing in a cloud computing provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Experience building and running containers and associated orchestration tools

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
