Who We Are:
At Emburse, you won’t just picture the future—you’ll help create it. As a leader in travel and expense solutions, we’re building a future where technology creates business value and delivers exceptional results. Our AI-powered platform helps organizations modernize financial operations, improve visibility, and optimize spending across the enterprise.

Ready to take the next step in your sales career with a global fintech leader?

We’re seeking a high-energy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sydney office. This isn’t just any SDR position. You’ll be stepping into a role after a team member was recently promoted—proof that we don’t just talk about growth; we make it happen.

As the only SDR in our Sydney office, you’ll own the APAC region. You’ll serve as the strategic driver for a strong local sales team of four Account Executives, while working closely with our global marketing and demand generation teams. If you’re self-directed, highly motivated, and want a role with a clear path to closing positions or other strategic teams, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own the Region: Lead outbound prospecting, qualification, and the generation of Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs) across APAC.

  • Target & Engage: Create new sales-qualified leads through strategic phone and email outreach, targeting our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

  • Hit Your Metrics: Consistently achieve daily activity targets, including call volume, talk time, and personalized email campaigns.

  • Use the Tech Stack: Use tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and SalesLoft to identify prospects, import data, and build high-impact outreach campaigns.

  • Nurture Relationships: Build and develop relationships across mid-market, large, and enterprise accounts, and coordinate needs-analysis calls and software demos for your AE team.

  • Collaborate Strategically: Work closely with Sales Managers, Account Executives, and global Demand Gen/Marketing leadership to continuously improve the sales pipeline.

  • Maintain Data Accuracy: Keep Salesforce clean, organized, and current. Help update our ICP lists quarterly using market feedback and data insights.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in office, corporate, or B2B sales (or equivalent experience handling business communication through phone and email).

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with https://www.salesforce.com

is required. Experience with Salesforce and tools like Outreach, Nooks, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo is a major advantage.

  • Communication Champions: Strong verbal and written communication skills, confident phone presence, and comfort managing high-volume B2B outreach.

  • “Solo Engine” Mindset: Ability to work independently as the sole SDR in the field while staying closely connected to the Sydney sales team.

  • Organized & Adaptable: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Education: A college degree is preferred, but equivalent experience in a related professional field is highly valued.
