We are looking for an Android Engineer to join our tech team. Someone withexperience developing in Kotlin.

What will you be working at in Trucksters on a daily basis?

You’ll be working at a product-driven company, pretty close to the businessprocesses to deeply understand the user and be able to propose desirableoutcomes.Contribute to the technology development of the product as a whole: from coding topromoting new fresh ideas along the way. Creativity is a must. You’ll be part of an agile team and collaborate with all your team members. Design, develop, test and deploy our mobile app. Our team is end to end andowns the full stack.

You may be a good fit if you

• Have 3+ years of working experience in Android development with Kotlin / Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to dealwith different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications (FCM).
• Have extensive testing experience. You don’t feel safe until you have good testcoverage.
• Speak English fluently, at a professional level, since we mainly work in English!
• Follow Agile and Lean principles.

Also, it would be great if you

• Have a portfolio of released applications in the Google Play Store or Apple AppStore.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• GraphQL with Apollo experience would be much appreciated.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Know about clean code practices.
• Have some working experience with clean architectures (or hexagonal, ports andadapters, etc.)
• Put in practice the SOLID principles on a day-to-day basis.
• Always seeking continuous improvement.
