Key responsibilities:

• Collaborating with UI/UX designer to take into account latest android design patterns and usability flows
• Turning photoshop designs into xml layouts for android application
• Writing core logic for android application for scalability and optimization
• Lead the Android development in agile manner along with product team

Skills required:

• Knowledge of fragments for multi-pane layouts suitable for mobile as well as tablet screens
• Good with sqlite database handling in android. Preferred if have knowledge of working with Content Providers
• Strong working knowledge of networking in android with REST apis and JSON parsing. Should have knowledge of 3rd party libraries for networking like Volley, OKHTTP Snpp etc.
• Knowledge of building xml based android layouts
• Coding experience of multi-threading in android, use of handlers and threads
• Working knowledge of using services and Broadcast Receivers in android
