As theAndroid Development Lead, you will work under the direction of the Aculink Development Lead to develop and deliver Android smartphone and tablet applications that deliver environmental conditions information and weather/home alerts to customers (pretty much save the world). You will be an experienced mobile developer familiar with Android Studio and a track record of successfully publishing Apps to Google Play. Youwill be a driving force in developing the “My AcuRite’ online and mobile experience for customers.

The day to day

• Acts independently under general direction of theAcuLinkDevelopment Lead

• Deliver state of the art mobile experiences with modern technologies in order to make our customers successful

• Work closely with Product Management and the UX Lead to ensure building high quality apps efficiently and in a manner that meet the ultimate vision of the platform

• Perform code reviews and publish/update development and data structure guidelines

• Troubleshoot and debug issues, along with fight alien robots

• Provide client and implementation support when needed

• Build and maintain a successful collaborative relationship with other software developers on the project.

• Maintain and grow current products with a vision toward how the product and architecture should evolve to adapt to new customer needs

• Save the world from poorly made weather products
