Want to implement cutting-edge Android Proof-of-Concept apps, often with brand new hardware? We’re looking for someone to work alongside our employees to do exactly that on projects with one of our largest customers.

This is a 1099 contract position. We can be flexible on hours, though availability 20+ hours per week is preferred. We would ideally like someone who can work with us on a long-term basis.

Minimum skills / experience we’re looking for:

* 2+ years Android development experience. * 1+ years low-level experience with byte stream manipulation, such as sensor feeds, video codecs, network / Bluetooth communications. * Strong analytical and debugging skills, including integration situations where you are interacting with another system. * Ability to debug into Android framework (AOSP) source code.

Pay: $40-80/hr, depending on skill level.

Location: Slight preference for Pacific Time. This is a 100% remote position; you should have experience working remotely and strong communication skills over phone and email.
