This is a start-up operation within an existing enterprise.We’re fully funded, with extremely supportive investors, engaged stakeholders and brilliant coworkersbound together by the love of exploration, learning and applied problem solving. We come from different backgrounds, all of us outsiders to the industry.

We’re early in defining an ecosystem. Four months in, we’re using Nodejs with Express, PostgreSQL, Java, Android SDK, Ionic/Angular.js, and Java with Spring and Hibernate feeding Bootstrap. All choices have been driven by developer preferences. We’re architecting for micro-services. We use Jira, Trello, Bitbucket and an evolving set of testing tools. We use tools like Docker and Beanstalk/Ansible to quickly create/destroy environments for both local dev and AWS.
