Our vision is to foster a data-driven decision-making culture throughout Stuart. We aim to shorten the time it takes to generate insights by ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and available to all teams and countries within the company.

As an Analytics Engineer, you will gain a deep understanding of Stuart’s core products and projects from a data perspective. You will create high-quality data pipelines and models using software engineering best practices applied to analytics (powered by dbt core). Our team supports all analytical needs by developing gold-standard data models in our warehouse, along with testing and documentation. You will also play a key role in building a self-service data culture, enabling everyone at Stuart to answer their own questions using the tools that best suit them.

You will report to the Engineering Manager of Data Foundations.

What will I be doing? 🤔
• Build data pipelines and model data in our warehouse so teams across the business can access the insights they need.
• Lead data projects end-to-end, from gathering requirements to driving adoption of the new data assets.
• Understand business developments and translate them into technical and data requirements.
• Suggest enhancements to our data models and collaborate with the Data Platform team to improve our data tools.
• Work with analysts to develop scalable reporting.
• Promote data discovery and enhance company-wide data knowledge through documentation and clear metric definitions.
• Go the extra mile to share your expertise on our data and tools.

What do we need from you? 😎
• 2+ years of SQL and data warehousing experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with dbt core and Airflow in production environments (mandatory)
• 1+ year of experience with reporting or data visualization tools such as Superset or Tableau
• Experience with Python and key data libraries (pandas, numpy, matplotlib)
• Ability to support a self-service data culture and empower cross-functional teams
• Strong English communication skills, able to explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Our data stack includes AWS S3, Redshift, Airbyte, dbt core, Airflow, and Superset

The stuff you want to know 😉
• Work in an international, dynamic, and passionate environment with a culture focused on growth and learning
• Hybrid working model and flexible hours

Current benefits include:
• Edenred Ticket Restaurant (€11 per day)
• Wellness Allowance (€40 per month) for gyms or sports classes
• Private healthcare through Alan
• Free monthly Bicing card
• Parent-friendly environment – monthly childcare voucher and regular social activities (family day, community lunches, yoga, ceramics, gardening, and more)
