About You
As an Ongoing Monitoring Analyst, you will be part of the first line of defence in our fight against financial crime. You’ll monitor a range of transaction types across our customer base. This role is key to our monitoring efforts and helps identify suspicious activity that requires further investigation.

Some of the things you’ll be doing:
– Reviewing transactions across different payment types to identify signs of financial crime, including fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing
– Sanction screening and screening some payments
– Looking for ways to improve tools and processes for transaction analysis
– Reviewing transaction alerts, identifying inconsistencies, and escalating accounts where there are concerns about financial crime
– Using a variety of tools to analyse transactions in different ways, including thematic reviews
– Carrying out operational tasks as required
– Working a shared shift schedule
– Being willing to work weekends when needed
– Using strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with many internal and external stakeholders, and taking initiative in a fast-paced, always-changing environment
– Resolving member questions promptly by contacting members through in-app chat, email, and phone
– Answering queries from internal teams and collaborating closely with them

You’ll be a great fit if:
– You have strong attention to detail and can spot suspicious activity within transaction data
– You have 2–4 years of experience in AML and transaction monitoring in India, preferably in a highly regulated environment
– You have a strong understanding of CDD and EDD processes in the Indian context
– You have professional work experience, ideally in financial services such as banking or FinTech
– You enjoy asking the right questions, have a problem-solving mindset, and are always looking to make processes leaner, more reliable, and robust
– You have an analytical mindset—able to process large datasets and easily identify patterns and trends
– You’re a fast learner, curious, able to multitask, and flexible with your role
– You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate with clients, company stakeholders, and regulatory bodies when required
– You’re organized and can stay calm under pressure
– You can handle multiple tasks and stay organized while doing so
– You’re a problem solver who is willing to share solutions
