About the Role

We seeka Senior Backend Developer to help build and scale backend services that power our mental health care platform. You’ll be working on high-impact features, leading architectural decisions, and contributing to a system used by clients and providers nationwide.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in Nodejs (NestJS), TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and API development (REST/GraphQL)—with a solid grasp of scalability and modern software architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust backend systems and scalable APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Implement and optimize PostgreSQL queries and data models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver backend solutions
• Contribute to architectural discussions focused on performance, scalability, and security
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
• Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure when needed

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of experience with Nodejs and NestJS
• 3–4 years of professional experience with TypeScript
• 5+ years of hands-on work with PostgreSQL
• 4+ years in API development (REST and/or GraphQL)
• Solid experience in software architecture and designing scalable systems

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to React or Next.js
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
