We are looking for a detail‑focused and organized Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage the full invoice processing cycle, ensuring vendors are paid correctly and on schedule while keeping precise financial documentation. Your work will help safeguard our cash flow and strengthen relationships with our supply chain partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Invoice Management: Complete three‑way matching by confirming invoices align with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Data Entry and Coding: Enter data accurately and assign expenses to the appropriate GL accounts and departments.
• Payment Cycles: Prepare and process weekly payments through our ERP system, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
• Vendor Relations: Serve as the main contact for vendor questions, resolve billing issues, and reconcile monthly statements.
• Compliance and Audit: Maintain well‑organized digital records to ensure all files remain audit‑ready.
• Expense Reports: Review and process employee reimbursement requests in accordance with company guidelines.
• Discounts and Fees: Track payment deadlines to secure early‑payment discounts and avoid late charges.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: 1–3 years in accounting or accounts payable.
• Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs) and familiarity with accounting tools such as Workday, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or SAP.
• Education: High school diploma required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify small discrepancies within large data sets.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with automated AP OCR systems.
• Basic understanding of GAAP.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities for resolving vendor issues.
Pay
The target base salary ranges for full‑time new hires in the United States are:
Zone A: $49,880–$64,850 plus equity and benefits
Zone B: $54,868–$71,335 plus equity and benefits
Zone C: $59,856–$77,820 plus equity and benefits
Zone D: $64,844–$84,305 plus equity and benefits
These ranges reflect the minimum and maximum salary targets for each geographic zone. Starting pay depends on factors such as education, training, skill level, experience, certifications, team needs, internal equity, and market conditions.
