Accounting Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated professional to join our Financial Control team on a one-year fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative and supportive organization, contributing to a dynamic and evolving team while working on engaging and impactful projects.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate, and timely manner
- Track, record, and reconcile corporate card payments
- Maintain budgeting records and statements
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly expense reports and other ad-hoc analysis
- Monitor and maintain proper accounting documents and records
- Manage petty cash transactions
- Record and verify invoices from suppliers
- Directly communicate with colleagues, suppliers, and service providers
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, as required
Main requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
- 1 year of experience in a similar position would be considered as an advantage
- Working knowledge of SAP accounting software will be considered an advantage
- Energetic, positive, and a team player
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel
