As part of our continued growth in Australia, we’re hiring an Assistant Accountant to support our finance operations and ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient financial processes.

This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their accounting career within a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, and maintain the company fixed asset register.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Assist with the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Support BAS, PAYG, payroll and other statutory filings.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plan.
• Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

• Recent experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Proficiency in Xero (advantageous but not essential).
• Experience with foreign currency transactions and reconciliations (forex) in a multi-entity or global business environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
