Job Summary:
The Accountant II will manage daily, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc general accounting and reporting activities, supporting the Revenue Accounting team. The role involves preparing and posting revenue-related journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and conducting flux analysis for balance sheet accounts. The position also supports the new Sales & Revenue Accounting System (SRE) through life‑to‑date reconciliations and contributes to process improvement through automation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities independently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
• Prepare and reconcile account activity, identify required adjustments, and perform detailed flux analysis with clear variance explanations.
• Maintain documentation and provide required support for internal and external audits.
• Support ad hoc reporting requests by delivering financial insights to meet business and reporting needs.
• Generate transactions for consumption by the revenue engine.
• Participate in enterprise application release testing.
Key Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in accounting close process for like size firm.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Analytical skills to organize and assess large amounts of data and lean towards challenging the status quo
  • Detail oriented, maintaining documentation trail for all work and ensuring backup/supporting materials stand on their own
  • Flexibility to work UK hours and overlap with US East Coast teams (Business Days 1–5).
