At 800.com, we’re building an intuitive and powerful cloud communications platform for SMBs and enterprises to connect via voice and SMS.
We’re looking for a dynamic, motivated Account Executive to help us accelerate growth. In this role, you’ll execute our outbound sales strategy—identifying potential customers and winning new business. You’ll begin by selling our product and then be responsible for building and expanding our sales team. This position will be essential to establishing and growing our customer base.
**The role will:**
– Create new business opportunities through outbound outreach and existing relationships.
– Leverage a strong inbound engine by nurturing leads and opportunities through our inbound and organic marketing efforts.
– Lead sales demos with confidence, uncovering prospects’ pain points, explaining 800.com’s value and key differentiators, and guiding prospects through the sales process.
– Own the sales pipeline from prospecting to close, prioritizing leads effectively and communicating challenges and wins to the team.
– Help drive deals to closure by engaging the right stakeholders throughout the buyer journey while managing organizational complexity.
– Continuously improve sales collateral and processes, collaborating with design and marketing to deliver an exceptional brand experience.
– Support customer onboarding as a liaison, ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to customer.
– Build a strong feedback loop with the product team by advocating for customer needs and sharing market insights.
– Think ahead to help lay the groundwork for a high-growth sales organization, including input on key future hires.
**You bring:**
– A strong track record of success in a senior sales role selling a SaaS product.
– 4+ years of experience closing SaaS deals.
– The ability to forecast and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
– Experience selling solutions into enterprise opportunities.
– Deep understanding of SaaS.
– A desire to empower customers, including the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, understandable terms.
– The ability to think strategically while also executing day-to-day work at both macro and micro levels.
– Ownership of your work and the way you communicate and collaborate with others.
– Experience partnering with product and marketing teams.
– Comfort working in the relative uncertainty of an early-stage startup.
– Ability to develop processes end to end.
– Experience with packaging and promotions.
– Ability to recruit new sales representatives.
– Ability to train new sales representatives.
– Ability to set, achieve, and exceed sales goals.
