Your Mission

We are looking for a Backend / Search Engineer to help us build and refine our product discovery experience, making it faster, smarter, and more intuitive.

Backend Engineers without search experience are also welcome to apply ! This is a perfect opportunity if you’re willing to learn and specialize in search. If you already have experience with that, that’s definitely a plus!

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize internal search of our e-commerce platform and internal tools
• Improve search relevance, ranking algorithms, and performance of product search
• Develop and maintain search-related APIs and backend services.
• Implement features like autocomplete, filters, sorting, and typo tolerance
• Analyze search logs and user behavior to guide improvements
• Monitor and optimize search infrastructure for speed, scalability and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate search solutions into our platform
• Develop and maintain backend systems for crypto payments using Nodejs/TypeScript
• Implement new supplier and third party integrations

You Bring With You

• 3+ years of backend experience, ideally with a focus on search working with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Apache Lucene, Solr, or similar
• Experience in e-commerce platforms or similar
• Solid understanding of ranking, indexing, and structured search.
• Hands-on experience with search query performance optimization and scalability strategies.
• Ability to deploy, monitor, and optimize production search services.
  It’s a plus if you have:
• Experience with our stack, mainly in Nodejs/TypeScript and/or Python, but also Mongo, Typesense
• Familiarity with vector search, embeddings, NLP, and AI-driven search enhancements
