As the JIRA/Tempo Tool Administrator, you will own the administration and support of Atlassian Tools specifically JIRA and the JIRA plug in tools from Tempo to meet the needs of multiple functions (IT Helpdesk, Sales, Product Mgt, and Marketing) throughout the company. As the adoption of the JIRA expands to various teams, you will promote best practices while advising teams on how to get the most out of Jira and Tempo.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to support JIRA and Tempo in ways that will help them improve their business process.

  • Meet with team leads to determine needs and how best to implement JIRA within their department.

  • Create and configure new JIRA projects and work with departments to maintain existing JIRA projects.

  • Help guide and maintain the organization of data in JIRA and develop templates where possible.

  • Document JIRA and Tempo standards and best practices.

  • Train, guide, and assist end-users in use of JIRA/Tempo.

  • Create, maintain and support dashboards and advanced filters for end users reporting capabilities.

  • Perform requirements gathering, develop business process workflows, and determine ways to improve the JIRA/Tempo based workflows and processes in place as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.

  • Drive development of reporting within JIRA and Tempo to support organizational needs.
