Here at RedBalloon we are growing, behind the red door big things are happening and we are looking for Scala Developers to work on an exciting Commercial project as part of a new team of 6 dedicated to a Project that will change how we operate.

These are roles for scala enthusiasts looking for commercial experience to talented developers who want to get in and get their hands dirty, you will be actively working across not only this project team but the whole business.

You will be smart, curious and want to be part of a team that swims with sharks on a Friday, has a charity breakfast Tuesday, messina Wednesday and runs an agile PM process everyday. Our search for the right people is an International one and we will offer sponsorship and relocation for the right future RedBallooner.

Reporting to the Project Manager & CTO, these roles are charged with helping bring to life a transformation program which will enhance customer experience and enable business growth. The vision for RedBalloon is to become best in class in how we take our experience product range to market.

You will be proud to be:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and implementing best in class: web API integrations; and UI & UX enhancements for web and mobile solutions

Not just coding, but delivering quality code and design through collaboration and communication with all internal stakeholders

  • Working closely and developing a business analyst in the following stages:

Ideation: to ensure solutions are technically feasible

  • Development: to ensure requirements are understood and met

  • *

Testing/Delivery: so key stakeholders and customers receive the solution

  • Developing and maintaining high quality project documentation through the lifecycle of the project
