CSC Big Data and Analytics is a high priority incubator unit with in the Emerging Business Group with focus on helping our customers accelerate their path to innovation through the introduction of breakthrough analytic, big data platform and data science consulting capabilities. We are currently looking for a Hadoop Engineer to join our team.

What you will do:

• Solution Architecture Role will be responsible for developing Hadoop based solutions to support typical use cases such as data ingestion (ETL), machine learning analytics, data archiving, text analytics, Internet of Things (IOT) and reporting.

• Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing a solution, determining the effort to implement the solution, and possibly leading the team to implement the solution.

• Document solutions for long term support

• Travel to client site as needed

• Assist client support team with Solution related issue resolution
