The QA/Tester is responsible for identifying defects in web and mobile software developed by our team. This includes testing across platforms, documentation of defects and effective communication with the development team. The QA/Tester ensures that the software we develop matches the user stories that describe each feature. The position is part time initially, but can grow to full time for the person who is able to multi-task between multiple projects and customers.
Essential Functions:
Tests software across all required platforms
Documents defects
Effectively communicates defects to the developers
Works with our User Experience lead in Costa Rica to understand the customer’s requirements
Effectively communicates directly with the US client to report the status of defects
