Your profile
- You fully understand the logic behind execution plans
- You are comfortable with SSIS packages
- You can actually make sense of traces and can use the resource governor with your eyes closed
- You have an open mind. E.g. maybe you will suggest NoSQL is the right way to achieve a specific goal
- A table with 1 billion rows doesn’t scare you
- You can partition tables in your sleep
- You can build/support/upgrade availability groups with Active directory
- Your salary will be fully paid off after 2 months because we won’t have to buy more core licences (then you can ask for a raise)
- Microsoft SQL Server release notes do make sense to you
- You can deal with temperamental cache plans
- You’re the kind of person who won’t go to bed until that query run in less than 4ms
- You keep a printed copy of all Brent Ozar articles on your bedside table
