Impekable is actively looking for talented engineers familiar with developing and/or architecting complex solutions utilizing the diverse offerings afforded by Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We are seeking multiple candidatesexperienced in planning, implementing, monitoring and servicing/maintaining robust cloud offerings. Architect related needs are local to Irvine, CA and will require on-site collaboration. Engineering positionsare telecommute capable, but require stringent adherence to Impekable’s standards for remote workers. Currently, as opportunities require a senior level knowledge and will expect commensurate communicationprowess and mature understanding of project lifecycles. Each role has some unique aspects we’re looking for, detailed below, as well asa set of general attributes relevantto all roles.
Architecture:
3+ years experience designing and planningGCP solutions.
Familiar with managing and provisioning infrastructure.
Designing for security and compliance
Responsible for designing optimal GCP architecture, in line with the MDM, micro-services and AppEngine designs
Analyzing and optimizing technical and business processes.
Managing implementation across multiple environments
Ensuring solution and operations reliability
Provide subject matter expertise around technical infrastructure and applications.
Define the business case for solutions
Assist in prototyping and development of new environments
Guide solutions through launch to market
Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple channels
Provide reliable context and detailsto decision makers
Provide customer and market feedback to the product and engineering teams
Assist in shapingproduct direction
DevOps Architecture:
Comfortable with a range of programming and scripting languages
Experience using the typical Unix/Linux toolbox of software and management tools
Experience with large scale distributed systems in production
Good knowledge of internet networking and performance
Passionate about troubleshooting, debugging, and automation
Strong Linux knowledge
Knowledge of best practices and tooling
Experience with clustering and containerization technologies
Release and Versioning Strategy Design
CI/CD pipeline and toolchain overlay design
Mentorship and Pair Programming for:

Familiar with Environment Scoping
Engineering:
Write server side code for Google Cloud Platform based applications
Create robust high-volume production applications

Build, design and implement scalable cloud-based web applications for PaaS, IaaS or SaaS.
Provide thought leadership for cloud developer technology
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to streamline or improveapplication
