Client, based in Central London, is breaking new ground in the insurance world. To date they have over 500k customers and have built a world class team of 100+.

They are looking for a senior Go engineer to join their backend team (currently 8 engineers) to build systems of the utmost reliability and availabilty. They work in a highly collaborative fashion, and maintain an open and transparent work environment. You will be able to work remotely from anywhere in the UK or Europe, or onsite in their London office. They will sponsor visas.

Their current stack consists of Go (Golang), React, Typescript, GraphQL, Mongo and PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker.

Ideally you will:

– have 5+ years’ commercial experience working on back-end systems and APIs
– have at least a year of commercial experience working with Go
– have strong cloud experience – ideally know your way around AWS
– be comfortable working with containers (docker, Kubernetes etc)
