About the role
You will manage the operational arm of the people function as we scale and grow. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will manage and grow programs and policies that improve the employee experience. You will maintain a high level of operational excellence, be an employee advocate, and support our managers with their organization. You will employ a lens around equity and inclusion throughout our people processes and employee lifecycle.
As Head of People Operations, you will
Define and implement Talent Management programs such as Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Succession Planning, and Talent reviews
Actively work with external recruiters to manage company hiring needs
Shape, lead and implement a People Development strategy, including Leadership, Management, IC pathways, Career, and Team development
Manage an Operations Associate who performs a broad set of activities related to the employee lifecycle
Bring to life the company’s Perfect Fit culture which enables team members to play to their strengths and emphasizes developing both hard and soft skills for personal and professional development
Define and create a consistent approach to OKRs and performance reporting
Manage continuous improvements, and continually ideate around how to make large and incremental changes to company-wide processes
Leverage internal data to see around corners, predicting employee service needs, and delivering support models in advance of business needs
We can’t wait to hear from you, if you have
6+ years of experience in a People Operations or related HR role
2+ years of people management experience
Experience building and mentoring high-performance teams
Experience working at early-stage startups
Experience leading and engaging a diverse team
Wide range of knowledge regarding tech and data that allow efficiency (eg. Lever, Leapsome, Sunsama, Notion, etc..)
Experience building People Operations programs
Experience troubleshooting and presenting solutions using both analytical and creative problem-solving skills
