For extraordinary strategists, creatives, and technicians with unique personalities, Paper Tiger provides the right combination of autonomy, collaboration, and support, so our people can access their inner resources, learn from the best, and develop their skills and careers.

We subvert agency culture by prioritizing our humanity — treating each other with empathy and transparency so we can take care of ourselves and perform at our best. At Paper Tiger, we believe happy, fulfilled people effect the most positive impact at work, in their families, and in the world.

We are looking for a design production manager who can help ensure all agency creative work is completed on time.

You understand the agency process, how to work with web developers, project managers, account people, and creative team members alike. You keep aware of our creative team’s bandwidth and put together timelines and estimates using our agency project management system, Asana. Your time will be spent preparing estimates from creative resources and outside vendors; planning projects and inputting project data using project management software; managing the flow of creative work – sending materials to designers, account team members, developers, and project managers; running scheduling meetings; allocating resources to projects; developing new processes when needed; enforcing deadlines and solving issues with roadblocks; managing creative vendors; and assisting project managers on an as-needed basis.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

A commitment to social justice flows through our practice and inspires us to build a more equitable world — online, in the office, and beyond. More than accessible digital experiences, we make accommodations to meet the needs of our people and employ a fair interview process that focuses on talent and skill rather than advantage-based experience.

We believe that diversity and inclusion of people fosters more diverse and inclusive ideas — and that revolutionary ideas power innovation and growth. At heart, we’re nonconformists who care about what makes you unique and how we can set you up for success.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in production, project, or traffic management in a creative agency or in-house agency environment
  • Extreme comfort managing creative projects using digital tools/software. Knowledge of Asana is a bonus
  • An expert understanding of the creative production process relating to creative, content, and technical implementation.
  • Ability to keep tabs on a wide range of projects at once, without missing deadlines
  • Appreciation for following detailed processes and systems and creating new ones when they don’t exist
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with an upbeat, positive attitude
  • A proven ability to indirectly manage a team and diplomatically enforce adherence to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail

Benefits

  • 401(k)
  • Medical/Dental/Vision benefits with national coverage (US only)
  • Flexible schedule
  • Paid time off
  • Life insurance
