Responsibilities
Build, collaborate on, and maintain front-end applications including 3rd party web applications which integrate simply and seamlessly with our clients’ web pages, across modern browsers and various device sizes.
Maintain and improve performance of front-end experiences
Collaborate effectively with product team, designers, and other engineers to analyze user needs and scope new feature development
Ensure high-quality visual standards and brand consistency
Must Have
Quality portfolio and work experience as a front-end developer
Excellent communication skills
Modern JavaScript experience and proficiency
Proficiency with modern CSS (or compile-to-CSS alternatives)
Experience with, or strong interest in, Svelte.js
Ability to work quickly, exercise judgment, and lead discussion about the right level of polish & functional orientation (flexible, configurable vs. rigid, single clear purpose) for the task at hand
Ability to faithfully implement designs from Figma or similar tools, but also give feedback and recommendations about potential gaps and improvements to the design.
A product mindset
Great to Have
Experience mentoring and working with junior frontend engineers
Proficiency in measuring and optimizing front-end performance
Experience with, or interest in, ClojureScript
Reactjs experience
Experience working in, or with, the retail industry
Experience working on, or integrating with, large retail e-commerce sites
Experience working on, or integrating with, adtech
React Native or any native mobile app development experience

Salary and compensation
