THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a social-first copywriter to support the editorial team.

Please note: this is a part-time, freelance opportunity.

What YOU’ll do:
Primary focus: write, edit, and collaborate with the team on all organic and paid social copy, including but not limited to:
• Organic captions and supers (where applicable) for all Milk social platforms
• Reviewing assets with copy when available
• Staying current on the latest product positioning through check-ins with the editorial team, so social copy always matches the newest strategy and best practices
• Checking in with the Editorial Director when copy needs review and approval, or when questions or concerns come up
• Partnering with the paid and DTC teams to support their needs, including Demand Gen and PMAX ad copy

Secondary focus: one-off, ad hoc copy needs as they come up—such as brainstorming and product name ideas.

We’d like YOU to have:
• Availability Monday–Friday, with flexible hours based on team needs
• Flexible hours are required, including occasional weekend availability during peak captioning times
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week
• Beauty experience is a major plus
