  • Maintain the compensation framework through benchmarking, audits, reconciliations, data validation, and readiness for performance cycles; partner with the Chief People Officer on compensation principles, strategy, and design

  • Develop and maintain recurring audits and controls for employee and contractor data, system fields, and downstream integrations to ensure information is accurate, compliant, and functioning as intended

  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, Recruiting, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure clean transitions, accurate people data, and dependable operational workflows

  • Support and run ongoing People Operations activities such as performance review administration, engagement survey operations, reporting support, and related materials

  • Create clear reporting and analyses for People leaders, particularly regarding compensation, headcount, and workforce data

  • Troubleshoot system and workflow issues, determine root causes, and proactively recommend fixes or process improvements

  • Help drive operational projects and process enhancements with strong organization, documentation, follow-through, and attention to detail

What you bring

  • 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Compensation, HRIS, or a closely related role

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, lean People Operations environment

  • Hands-on experience administering HR systems and managing and improving workflows, data quality, system configuration, integrations, and data mapping, with a solid understanding of systems design best practices

  • Enthusiasm and experience using AI to increase speed, improve work quality, and enhance the employee experience

  • Strong analytical abilities, including advanced spreadsheet formula skills and comfort working with large datasets in complex Google Sheets or Excel models

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data structure and data cleanliness

  • Proactive problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and strengthen process reliability

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage recurring deliverables and maintain progress across multiple stakeholders

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach

Bonus points

  • Experience with Rippling, Lattice, or comparable modern HRIS tools

  • Experience supporting contractor onboarding, offboarding, and workflow management
