We’re a small team of humans(andone owl🦉) working together to shape the developer landscape through documentation—and we’re growing! That’s where you come in.We’re looking for a new member of the design team who finds joy in working with code.

As a product designer at ReadMe, you’llbe working closely with: 😁 Our head of product,Marc, whogrew up in the frozen tundra of northern Minnesota.He’s sometimes seenyelling at one of his cats to get out of the way of the TV. 🥸 Our designer,Ryan,currently residingin SF, but sometimesyou can find him traveling in his van(Bertha). 🤓 And me—I grew up collectingholographicMUNI passes, but now I just collect plants.

We want designers at ReadMe to understand the needs of developers, and deliver solutions to their problems. That involves talking to customers, designing, and coding. If that sounds vague, that’s becausethere’s room at ReadMefor you toflex design muscleswhereyou’retheexpert, and to practice newthings—it’s your journey!

This role will start out remotely due to COVID-19. We want to make sure all our employees feel safe in their work environments! Eventually, we plan for this role to be on-site at our San Francisco office (unless otherwise noted in the job title), though our plans for remote flexibility are currently in flux.
