Piton Labs is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to support our next stage of expansion. As the first person in this role, you will be instrumental in growing our customer base and creating new strategic partnerships. We especially prefer candidates in time zones from GMT-8 (US West Coast) to GMT-3, though others may be considered case by case.
**RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS**
You will participate in the entire sales cycle—from contacting prospective customers to closing deals—supported by our founding team. While deep technical knowledge is not required, having a basic understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you communicate our value clearly to prospects.
Key responsibilities include:
– Finding and reaching out to new potential customers
– Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
– Developing and implementing sales strategies for our priority markets (startups and corporate innovation)
– Working with the engineering team to share customer needs and insights
– Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through consistent communication
– Delivering presentations and demos that demonstrate how our solutions address customer challenges

You are a driven professional with strong business development experience. You naturally build and maintain relationships and thrive in the following areas:

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
– Native or fluent English
– 4+ years of experience in business development, ideally in a technology-focused setting
– Demonstrated success in generating new business
**REMOTE WORK POLICY**
– Fully remote, with no physical office
– Preference for candidates in the USA who have work authorization
– Second priority for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap with the US East Coast for 4–6 hours on most days
– Suitable for digital nomads, with no requirement for a fixed location
