Piton Labs is looking for a dedicated, trustworthy Business Development Representative to drive the next stage of the company’s growth. As the first person in this role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer base and building strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates in time zones from GMT-8 to GMT-3 (covering the U.S. West Coast), but other locations may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

### Responsibilities and expectations
You’ll take part in the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing—and will have full support from the startup’s founding team. While a deep technical background isn’t required, having some knowledge of software development and familiarity with the tech industry will help you clearly communicate the value of our offering to prospective customers.

Your main responsibilities include:
– Prospecting and reaching out to new leads
– Representing Piton Labs in industry meetings, events, and conferences
– Developing and executing a sales strategy focused on key markets (startups and enterprise innovation teams)
– Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer information and requirements
– Maintaining and deepening customer relationships through ongoing communication
– Conducting demos and presentations to explain how our solutions help solve customer problems

### About you
You’re proactive and results-driven, with solid experience in business development and a natural ability to build and maintain relationships. What sets you apart is that you:

– Build relationships effectively: you can expand partnerships and turn your network into customers
– Think strategically: you understand market dynamics and can position the technical value of our offering effectively
– Understand the tech environment: while you may not be an engineer, you’re familiar enough with digital and technology ecosystems to clearly communicate our value

### Basic requirements
– Native-level English
– 4+ years of experience in business development, ideally with a background in the tech industry
– Proven track record of successfully building new business

### Remote work policy
– Fully remote, with no physical office
– Preference for candidates authorized to work in the U.S.
– Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay candidates will be considered as a secondary option
– Most workdays should overlap by 4–6 hours with U.S. Eastern Time
– Ideal for digital nomads with no fixed office location
