Piton Labs is looking to hire a dedicated, responsible Business Development Representative to help drive the company’s next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates in UTC-8 (US, West Coast) and UTC-3, but we may consider other regions on a case-by-case basis.

**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation to closing—with support from the founding team. While the role does not require deep technical expertise, having a solid understanding of software development and the technology industry will help you clearly communicate the value of our offering to potential customers.

Your main responsibilities include:
– Prospecting and reaching out to potential customers
– Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
– Creating and executing sales strategies for our key markets (startups and innovation teams within larger companies)
– Collaborating with the engineering team to capture and communicate customer needs and insights
– Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up
– Delivering presentations and demos that show how our solutions meet customer needs

**About the candidate**
You are highly motivated, with strong business development experience. You stand out by building and maintaining relationships, and you bring:

– **Relationship building:** you create partnerships and turn outreach into customers
– **Strategic thinking:** you understand market trends and can position our technology clearly
– **Technical awareness:** you’re not an engineer, but you understand the digital landscape well enough to explain our value effectively

**Basic requirements**
– Native-level English
– At least four (4) years of experience in business development, preferably in a technology company
– Proof of success in generating new business

**Remote work policy**
– Fully remote (no need to work from an in-person office)
– Preference for candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States
– Next preference: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap four to six hours with US time (Eastern Time) on most working days
– Great for digital nomads—no fixed location required
