Piton Labs is looking for a fully committed Business Development Specialist to help us enter the next stage of growth. As the first hire in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building strategic partnerships. We prioritize candidates in the GMT‑8 (US West Coast) to GMT‑3 time range, but exceptional applicants from other regions will also be considered.
Responsibilities and Expectations
You will be involved in the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing partnerships, with continuous support from the founding team. While you don’t need a deep technical background, having a baseline understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value to potential customers.
Key responsibilities include:
• Identify and reach out to potential customers
• Represent Piton Labs at events, meetings, and networking opportunities
• Develop and execute sales strategies for core markets (startups and enterprise innovation teams)
• Work closely with the engineering team to translate customer needs and insights
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication
• Deliver demos and introductions to show how we address customer challenges
About You
You are proactive and have proven business development experience, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships. What sets you apart is that:

Basic Requirements
• Native-level English proficiency
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally in the tech industry
• Demonstrated, measurable business development results
Remote Work Policy
• Fully remote, no physical office
• Prefer candidates with valid legal work authorization in the United States
• Also considering candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Daily overlap of 4–6 working hours with US Eastern Time
• Digital nomads are welcome—no fixed location required
