Piton Labs is looking for a dedicated, responsible Business Development Representative to drive the company into its next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer pipeline and building new strategic partnerships. We prioritize candidates in the GMT‑8 to GMT‑3 time range (U.S. West to U.S. Central), but applications from other regions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities and Expectations
You will own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing—supported by the founding team. While a deep technical background isn’t required, a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value to prospects.

Your main responsibilities include:
• Identify and reach out to potential customers
• Represent Piton Labs at events, meetings, and business discussions
• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for core markets (startups and enterprise innovation teams)
• Work closely with the engineering team to translate customer needs and insights
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through ongoing communication
• Deliver demos and presentations to show how our solutions meet customer needs

About You
You are proactive and have a strong track record in business development. You excel at building and maintaining relationships, especially with:
• Ownership: You drive end-to-end execution and help shape company direction
• Relationship building: You turn connections into customers
• Strategic thinking: You understand market trends and position our technology effectively
• Technical fluency: You’re not an engineer, but you have enough digital domain knowledge to explain our value clearly

Basic Requirements
• Native-level English proficiency
• 4+ years of business development experience, preferably from a tech company
• Proven success in developing new business

Remote Work Policy
• Fully remote, no physical office
• Priority given to candidates with legal work authorization in the United States
• Secondary preference for candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Most workdays should overlap with U.S. Eastern Time by 4–6 hours
• Ideal for digital nomads—no fixed residence required
