We’re looking for a Support Coordinator who’s excited to make a meaningful difference by helping us deliver an organized, compassionate, and high-quality support experience for our clients.

Why join Yoko Co?
• Do good, better: We work only with clients who create positive change. This is your opportunity to build things that contribute to a better world.
• A 4‑day work week and plenty of holidays: Mondays are flexible—take them off if your work is done. We also take nearly a full week off for Thanksgiving, two weeks at the end of the year, and several additional holidays. Work-life balance matters here.
• High performance, no jerks: You’ll collaborate with kind, talented people who care about doing excellent work.
• Award-winning workplace: We’ve been recognized as a Best Place to Work by the Inc. 5000 and the Washington Business Journal.

We value teammates who are inspired by our mission and eager to make a positive impact. If you aim for excellence, embrace growth, and thrive in collaborative environments, we’d love to meet you.

As a Support Coordinator, you’ll help keep our support team organized and ensure our clients stay satisfied. You’ll manage communication between clients and our technical team, keep support requests moving, and occasionally work with other departments.

On the client side:
You’ll build strong, trusting relationships and make sure clients feel appreciated and confident in our support. You’ll act as a primary contact for support needs, communicating request statuses clearly and ensuring clients feel well cared for. When things get complex, you’ll help clients clarify their issues and work with the technical team to find the best solutions.

On the coordination side:
You’ll oversee the flow of support tickets, keep the team organized, and ensure deadlines are met. You’ll assign and prioritize tasks to balance workloads and keep operations running smoothly. When necessary, you’ll collaborate with other departments to solve cross-team issues and deliver thoughtful solutions.

Examples of recent support coordination tasks:
• Ensured a long-overdue critical support request was escalated and resolved.
• Organized a meeting between the support team and a client’s IT director to review security policy changes.
• Monitored ticket volume to prevent bottlenecks and coordinated task assignments with the production manager.
• Scheduled an introductory call with a client’s new marketing director to discuss upcoming initiatives.
• Helped a client prioritize multiple support needs by hosting a call and triaging requests to our engineers.
• Worked with a digital strategist to answer a client’s question about improving their site’s search visibility.
• Set up a monthly check-in with a client who launched a new marketing campaign to review site performance and plan ahead.
• Helped a project manager prepare an estimate for a last-minute landing page for a high-profile event.

Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you know how to build trust and make clients feel understood.
• Strong organizational abilities—you manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and keep teams aligned.
• Experience using WordPress as a user or site administrator.
• Hands-on development experience is a plus, but not required. You should, however, understand web development and digital marketing basics.
• Experience coordinating with teams, ideally in a client-facing or support-focused role.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

What you’ll receive:
A flexible schedule, unlimited time off, competitive pay, a profit-sharing bonus starting in year two, the freedom to work from anywhere, a personal development budget, all US federal holidays, and multiple weeks off at year’s end. We also offset your entire carbon footprint. For US-based employees, we offer health insurance, disability and life insurance, and 401(k) matching.

More about us:
We’re a team of people who care deeply about our work, our clients, and our craft. We care about each other, too—we see one another as humans first. From developers and designers to project managers and strategists, we bring out the best in each other. We’ve been a fully remote company for over a decade and have been recognized as a Best Place to Work by the Inc. 5000 and the Washington Business Journal.

How to apply:
If you’re interested, complete the application form linked below. A real person from our team reviews every submission. (We encourage you to include a video message!)

We welcome applicants from anywhere in the world but require working hours that overlap with standard US business hours.
