Are you a detail‑oriented professional with strong listening and transcription abilities? Welo Data is launching a new project and seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Transcribers. In this remote role, you will accurately transcribe audio recordings and enrich them with timestamps and contextual tags. What you will do:
– Transcribe audio recordings in the target language with exceptional accuracy.
– Apply timestamps to ensure proper alignment with the audio.
– Tag each recording with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata.
– Ensure all transcriptions are culturally appropriate and convey the intended tone and meaning.
– Work with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across all work.
– Follow project timelines and adhere to transcription guidelines and formatting rules.

Project Details
Commitment: Flexible, with a minimum of 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 hours depending on availability).

Pay Rate: $10/hour

Requirements:
– Native or professional (C1/C2) proficiency in the target language and strong English skills.
– Previous experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic work is strongly preferred.
– Ability to recognize regional dialects, emotional cues, and context in audio.
– Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to deliver accurate work.
– Experience with transcription software and comfort working with timestamps and tags.
– Reliability in meeting deadlines and consistently producing high‑quality transcriptions.
