CrossFit is seeking a contracted Email Strategist for a six‑month engagement.
In this creative, data-focused position, you will plan, build, execute, and refine our email marketing and push notification strategies to boost engagement, conversions, and customer loyalty. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful communication campaigns that reflect our brand voice and support our business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Develop and implement a comprehensive email marketing strategy that aligns with business goals.
● Plan, write, design, and optimize email campaigns aimed at acquisition, retention, and re-engagement.
● Segment audiences and tailor messaging to improve engagement and conversions.
● Partner with design, content, and product teams to create high-quality email assets.
● Track key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, unsubscribes) and conduct A/B tests on subject lines, CTAs, and content to enhance results.
● Maintain the email marketing calendar and ensure campaigns launch on schedule.
● Ensure all email content follows best practices and legal requirements.
● Manage the Braze platform for both email and push notification communications.
● Analyze campaign performance and deliver regular reports with actionable recommendations.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
● Demonstrated success in creating effective lifecycle and promotional email and push notification campaigns.
● Strong analytical abilities with experience using Google Analytics and email platform reporting tools.
● Hands-on experience with Braze, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar platforms.
● Proficiency in A/B testing, audience segmentation, and personalization.
● Experience designing emails using tools such as Canva, InDesign, Figma, or similar.
● Understanding of email compliance standards and deliverability best practices.
● Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS for email is helpful.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
● At least 3 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or CRM strategy.
