Are you a detail‑oriented professional with strong listening and transcription abilities? Welo Data is launching a new project and is looking for skilled individuals to join our team as Transcribers. In this remote role, you will transcribe audio recordings with accuracy while adding meaningful context through tagging and timestamps. What you will do:
– Listen to audio recordings in the target language and produce accurate transcriptions.
– Add timestamps to keep the transcription aligned with the audio.
– Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata to enrich project output.
– Ensure transcriptions are culturally appropriate and convey the intended tone and meaning.
– Work with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across all work.
– Meet deadlines and follow specific transcription guidelines and formatting rules.

Project Details
Commitment: Flexible, with a minimum of 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 depending on availability).
Job Type: Freelance/Independent Contractor

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Requirements:
– Native or professional proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language and strong English skills.
– Previous experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic work is highly preferred.
– Ability to recognize regional dialects, emotions, and contextual cues in audio.
– Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to deliver accurate work.
– Familiarity with transcription tools/software and the ability to work with timestamps and tags.
– Ability to meet deadlines and provide consistent, high‑quality results.
