We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Recruiting Coordinator to join our expanding, distributed team at Coforma. This is a remote-first position, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone, and it reports to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager.
The right candidate is a proactive self-starter who can support hiring needs across Business Development, Design, Engineering, Product, and Project Management. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, interview teams, internal partners (PeopleOps, Finance, IT), and candidates to ensure a fair, efficient, and smooth hiring experience. Your responsibilities will include managing scheduling, coordinating communication between candidates and hiring teams, and contributing ideas to help refine and improve our hiring processes.

Annual compensation for this role is between $65,000 and $70,000, including benefits and room for growth. Placement in this range corresponds to one of three tiers, determined by candidate competency:
Tier 1: $65,000 — Meets minimum experience requirements and may need additional guidance after onboarding.
Tier 2: $67,500 — Fully competent and able to perform key responsibilities independently after onboarding.
Tier 3: $70,000 — Highly experienced and capable of performing above expectations post-onboarding.
To maintain our equitable pay practices, the salary range and tier amounts are not negotiable.

This is a US-based remote position and is open only to candidates currently living in one of the approved states listed. Some travel may be required. To comply with employment and tax regulations, applicants must reside in one of the specified states at the time of application.
What You’ll Do
• Coordinate and schedule video interviews (and occasional on-site interviews), ensuring candidates and interviewers are fully prepared.
• Provide a people-centered, positive candidate experience with clear and timely communication throughout the hiring process.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify hiring needs, align on interview timelines, resolve issues, and share updates.
• Support offer letter preparation and ensure accurate entry of new hire information.
• Expand your skillset in a fast-paced federal contracting environment, including eventually helping source candidates and preparing to grow into a Talent Acquisition Specialist role.
Who You Are
• You have at least one year of interview scheduling and coordination experience in a startup setting (two or more years preferred).
• You have experience with an ATS (Lever preferred), video tools like Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet, and digital calendars such as Google Calendar or Outlook.
• You are strong at multitasking, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accuracy.
• You communicate clearly and professionally with people at all levels.
• You take initiative and seek opportunities to learn and grow.
• You live full-time in the contiguous United States and are legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
• Experience with scheduling platforms like Candidate.fyi, Gem, Goodtime, or similar tools
• Two or more years working on a remote team across multiple time zones

The salary range is $65,000 to $70,000 per year according to our equitable pay scale, with final placement based on the competency tiers noted above. These salary levels are not negotiable.
Coforma participates in E-Verify; new hires must complete Form I-9 for federal work authorization verification. Because of our work with the federal government, this position must be performed from the contiguous United States.
