Technical writers serve as an essential bridge between product, engineering, support, implementation, marketing, and customers. As an associate technical writer, you are responsible for creating and maintaining all documentation related to Lightcast’s products. You communicate clearly and accurately about how Lightcast products function and the problems they address, often working across multiple products at once.

Major Responsibilities:
• Support product enablement, improve NPS, and reduce time to value by providing well‑structured, context‑appropriate documentation.
• Help develop Lightcast’s product and API documentation, shaping its overall organization and ensuring it is accurate, clear, and current.
• Work with product teams and fellow technical writers to understand the core business problems being addressed and convey Lightcast solutions through clear, concise documentation.
• Track the performance and impact of your documentation and make improvements as needed.

Abilities:
• Demonstrated initiative and independence
• Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to a wide range of audiences
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication

Education and Experience:
• One year of experience as a technical writer or in a related position
• Basic familiarity with technical writing tools and content management systems is preferred
