We’re looking for a forward‑thinking Learning & Development Specialist (Instructional Designer) who is passionate about creating personalized, technology‑enhanced learning experiences. These experiences will help our Customer and Creator Support Advisors handle complex conversations and navigate advanced problem‑solving. This role blends learning design, technology, and operational processes to shape how our advisors develop, grow, and perform in an increasingly AI‑driven environment.
You will design learning experiences that support advisors throughout their entire journey—from onboarding to ongoing development, skill building, and performance support—and help us build a scalable, data‑driven, human‑centered learning operations function.
What you’ll do
Learning Design and Innovation
• Create tailored, data‑informed learning experiences aligned with advisor performance metrics, using the Advisor Skills Matrix to enable targeted development at scale.
• Develop AI‑supported, simulation‑based learning and bot‑led training that mirrors real customer interactions and strengthens advisors in complex, judgment‑based situations.
• Integrate Advisor Assist technologies into training programs so advisors can adopt new tools and workflows more quickly and accurately.
• Produce a wide range of learning formats, including microlearning, videos, gamified elements, and on‑demand modules that offer engaging and flexible learning options.
• Use generative AI and emerging technologies to streamline content creation, personalize learning, and scale high‑quality training.
Operational Excellence and Collaboration
• Partner with global training teams, operations, and external partners to embed learning across the advisor lifecycle—from onboarding to continuous skill development.
• Support the rollout of the Advisor Skills Matrix and learning and performance dashboards within coaching frameworks so that data drives learning priorities.
• Collaborate with site trainers to strengthen strategic thinking, simulation facilitation, critical‑thinking coaching, and human‑AI collaboration.
• Help design new capability pathways that prepare advisors for specialized, high‑complexity roles.
• Contribute to building an integrated learning ecosystem that connects content, data, and coaching tools into a seamless, personalized learning experience.
Continuous Improvement
• Conduct ongoing needs analyses to identify skill gaps, new training requirements, and opportunities to align learning with operational goals.
• Analyze learning outcomes and performance data to refine content and ensure measurable performance improvements.
• Support the development and enhancement of learning analytics dashboards that link training to business impact.
Who you are
• You have more than three years of experience designing effective blended learning (ILT, e‑learning, and other engaging formats).
• You’re tech‑savvy and excited about using AI and emerging technologies to build dynamic learning solutions and improve efficiency.
• You combine creativity and storytelling with data and insights to craft impactful learning content.
• You enjoy cross‑functional work and can align learning design with business and operational needs.
• You’re curious, adaptable, energized by change, and always looking for better ways for people to learn.
• You’re proficient with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, LMS platforms, and editing tools like Camtasia or Audacity.
Where you’ll work
• The role is based in New York.
• You can work wherever you’re most productive; some in‑person meetings are required, with flexibility for remote work.
